Happy Birthday AMURICA!!!!

Apologies to all of my loyal readers and music lovers who have been waiting for a fresh post in a while now. Corporate America has had me by the balls for the last month or so, and between that winning Natty C's I've been a little busy. However, This long weekend has given me the perfect opportunity to drop some knowledge. OK enough with the chatter...onto the HEATERZZ!!!

This post is so massive that I'm gonna try to keep it as organized as possible by making different sections.

Mini post for today

This artist's name is Julian Beever, and he is incredibly talented. All of his work is done with chalk. Expect to see more in the future!

Here are a few jams that I've been feeling lately

"Save The World" - Swedish House Mafia feat. John Martin
Well here it is folks. SHM officially dropped the EPIC bomb, "Save The World"

"Make Some Noise" - Beastie Boys
Didn't love this at first but it has captured my heart. Could be because of this awesome video they came out with that features a host of famous actors including Danny McBride (aka Kenny Powers (aka La Flama Blanca)), Jack Black, Will Ferrell, Elijah Wood, and many more. Check it out if you have half an hour to kill

"Silhouettes (Vocal Mix)" - Avicii
There was a song that I posted on 4/20 that was mistakenly labeled as "Silhouettes" when in reality it is "Flash" by DJ Scaloni & Tatana. My apologies for the blunder. Here is the real thing, vocals and all, and as usual Avicii delivers in a BIG way. Can you say Philly June 10??

"Watch You" - Benny Benassi feat. Clinton Sparks
Benassi giving a Trance-y feel on this one...real niceee

"Super Bass" - Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj is a total freak. Regardless, this song is pretty catchy, mainly the chorus. She's got some real nice curves too...check the vid to see what I'm talking about

"Finally Moving (James Brown Remix)" - Pretty Lights
A lot of you will recognize the unique beat/vocals from "Finally Moving," but this James Brown remix adds a nice twist. Really chill and laid back

"The World Is Yours" - Big Gigantic
Great blend of Jazz/Soul/Dubstep (did I just say that???) here. Big G brings the HEAT

"In Da Club (Starfucker Remix)" - 50 Cent
Great remix here by this electro group from Portland. In addition to having a pretty BA name, they throw down some pretty BA beats

UPDATE

"XOXO" - Swanky Tunes
I would not have updated this post to include a track unless it was an absolute bonafide HEATERRRR!!! Seriously though, this is the best beat I've heard in a while, rivals some of Avicii's finest works. Just an all around sickkk house track. Enjoy!

Feliz Seis de Mayo!!!!!

Today is Seis de Mayo, which along with the day after Thanksgiving, the 5th of July, and the 18th of March, is among the most hungover days of the year. Luckily for you, I've got heaterzz that'll cure that headache right up and get you JACKED UP for the weekend

"Save The World (Darren L Edit)" - Swedish House Mafia
Here's a cleaner version of the epic Heater dropped by Swedish House Mafia that I posted last week, "Save The World"

"The Golden Age" - The Asteroids Galaxy Tour
Here's that awesome song from the Heineken commercial. Old School jazz/big band/swing music here, and the girl's voice is phenomenalll, and she's definitely NOT ugly

Here's the video for you cave dwellers who don't know what I'm talking about

"Sleepyhead (Neo Tokyo Remix)" - Passion Pit
Very well done dubstep remix of an awesome song. Great energy, Passion Pit is a lot like Chromeo in that they sound realllly good with dubstep

"Miami Penthouse" - Alex Gaudino
HEATTERRRRR!!! This song is not for chilling. This song is for getting down on the dflooo. Great synth and bass work

"Levels" - Avicii
This song has been floating around for a while now, originally labeled as "ID." LT posted it a while back here. Some have already labeled it as the song of 2011 but I have a feeling the young Swede has got more tricks up his sleeve...

"Disco Rangers" - Skrillex
I'm not a huge Skrillex fan as most are, but this song is pretty effin' legit. There's no denying that Skrillex goes hard. I think when I hear "disco rangers" I have this strange nostalgic feeling for my childhood heroes, the Power Rangers. Speaking of which, has anyone ever noticed how racist they are? Black ranger is a black guy...yellow ranger is an asian girl...I'm rambling now, but get this song if you feel like partying

"Silly Girl (Neon Hitch vs. Wiz Khalifa)" - Brenton Duvall
Duvall at it again. Absolutely SICK mashup/remix. Can't wait til this kid starts making his own beats

"Alligator Sky" - Owl City feat. B.o.B.
This one will hit the radio waves soon enough, and for good reason, really up beat poppy feel

"Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) (Almighty club Mix)" - Katy Perry
Anytime Katy my lady gets a techno/club remix, it is a recipe for epicness. This one is no different

"America (Fuck Yeah!)" - Trey Parker
In honor of our beloved nation and its recent victory against the terrorist mastermind known as Obama Osama bin Laden. AMERICA!!!! FUCK YEAH!!!!

"Hightops" - Damn Right!
So I went to check out this band called Papdosio downtown last week, and these guys opened up for them. Let me tell you, they are SICKK!!! Seriously these guys throw a party on the dflo. My best description of them is a blend of the New Deal and Pretty Lights. This jam "Hightops" is legit one of the best songs I've heard in a while

"California Love" - Tayyib Ali
Great beat, love the sampling, TA's flow is great as well

"Don't Stop A Derezzed Teenage Dream" - Ryan Benincasa
Here's a special treat for you. For my Technosonics class, we were instructed to put together a mashup as a final project using Garage Band. Here is what I put together..it's not professional sounding because I don't have the resources necessary for that, but it's pretty decent. At least I would like to think so...I got an A on it after all...#winning

"Broken Lungs (Adventure Club Dubstep Remix)" - Thrice
This is what dubstep should sound like

Swedish House Mafia does it again!!!!

This song deserves its own post. But I don't have time for that. So here it is...a rip from BBC Radio 1's playing of "Save The World" by Swedish House Mafia, their latest BOMB. This is going to be an anthem for the summer of 2011...mark my words.

"Save The World Tonight" - Swedish House Mafia

...And now for the rest

"Fly You" - Wiz Khalifa
Standard Wiz fire great beat

"LIsztomania (feat. Jane Hanley)" - Edwin Van Cleef
Sickkkk electro-funk remix of the Phoenix classick

"Look At Me Now feat. Busta Rhymes & Lil Wayne" - Chris Brown
"Beautiful People (Cure Cause Remix)" - Chris Brown
"Look At Me Now feat. Busta Rhymes & Lil Wayne (No Big Deal Remix)" - Chris Brown
I neglected to post "Look At Me Now" when it first came out and I'm not sure why. Busta Rhymes has the most epic flow of any rapper ever in this. I can't comprehend how the man can speak that fast. The remix of this is pretty SICK as well, dflo Heater

"Ass On The Floor (Zedd Remix)" - Diddy-Dirty Money feat. Swizz Beatz
Another dflo Heater

"Koko" - Sander Van Doorn
Pretty epic house/progressive track that features whistling in it which I am a sucker for

"Comfortably Numb (Stylust Beats Dupstep Remix)" - Pink Floyd
More classick rock dubstep remixes, don't look for this trend to go away anytime soon. Really nice and smooth here too, nothing too crazy

"Oh My (feat. Fabolous, Roscoe Dash, & Wiz Khalifa)" - DJ Drama
Fabolous and Wiz? A match made in heaven.

"By My Side (Avicii Scandinavian Mix)" - Avicii & Sandro Monte feat. Abigail Bailey
Couldn't leave out an Avicii post...I thought the beat in this was kinda weird at first but once it picks up its pretty spectacular.

"Good Girls" - Cris Cab
Don't know why I held out on this...song is great, good energy

And for the ladiezz...
"Till The World Ends Remix" - Britney Spears (ft. Nicki Minaj & Ke$ha)
"S&M (Official Remix feat. Britney Spears)" - Rihanna
"Till The World Ends (Bloody Beetroots Remix)" - Britney Spears
So I guess all these chicks are getting together these days and remixing/adding verses to eachothers songs. It's hard to keep track of it all, here are the three that any girl should have.

"One Life Stand (Ian Carey Remix)[BIGLIFE EDIT]" - Ian Longo & Jay Wainwright feat Craig Smart
Closing out today with a catchy remix, I think the female fans will enjoy this particularly

Happy 4/20. My filehosting site is back in business...hopefully for good

I can't stand all of the 4/20 status updates on Facebook. I get it...you love to poke smot. So with that said, HAPPY 4/20 EVERYBODY!!!

Check out this video...Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg, two of the most notorious smot pokers around, collaborated for this bluesy track, "Superman."Pretty catchy if you ask me

"Girls With Bangs (Tiesto Remix)" - Lune
Tiesto Fire from his Radio 1 album, great beat/vocals

"We Don't Eat (Adventure Club Remix)" - James Vincent McMorrow
Legitimately the best dubstep song I think I've ever heard. Get this. NOW!

"Sweet Disposition 2011 (David Puentez Mash Bootique)" - Temper Trap
I know I've been posting a lot of electro/house music lately, but with tracks like this one, it is hard to listen to anything else. Straight fireee

Two Classick Rock remixes here. First one sounds Pretty Lights-esque. Second one is an absolutely EPIC remix to the already EPIC HEATER "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey.
"Stairway To Hip-Hop Heaven (Gramatik Remix)" - Led Zeppelin
"Don't Stop Believin' (Felix Voya Remix)" - Journey

Avicii to Looney Toonzz is like Lebron to Sportscenter...can't have one without the other. Here's some of the prodigy's latest masterpieces
"Silouhettes" - Avicii
"Penguin (Janski Remix)" - Avicii
"Blessed Bass (Avicii x Big Boi x Nicki Minaj)" - Mochi Beats

"Price Tag" - Jessie J. feat. B.o.B.
My favorite pop song out right now. Genuine.

Two chill dubstep tracks
"Never Good Enough (The Killabits Remix) feat. Collie Buddz and Lindi Ortega" - Major Lazer
"Kids Dubstep Remix" - Dagga

"Lock Down" - Ya Boy feat. Akon
This song is FIRE. Great guitar lick throughout, and Akon sounds more like his older stuff

"Civilization (Neon Stereo Private Bootleg)" - Justice
This remix throws down HARD. Crank the bass and get ready to rage

"Bullets (Adrian Lux Nause Club Remix)" - Rebecca & Fiona
Don't sleep on this one, the buildup takes a bit but its well worth it...epic beat and catchy vocals

"Beautician" - Dillon Francis
Incredible dubstep track here. Throws down real hard

"Forever Radio" - Wolfgang Gartner feat. Will.i.am
This one is gonna hit the pop charts. WG throws down an incredible beat as usual, and Will.i.am has some solid flow

New Look!!!

Once again, our file hosting site has been down. We are Incredibly frustrated, and have decided to use a new method to bring our fans the Heaterzz they deserve. We think that our new method will actually work better than before. One of the huge advantages is that you now can skip ahead in every song to see if you really like it, rather than waiting for it to build up. The only disadvantage is that it won't play as a playlist...not a big deal, you can just download the song and create a playlist on your iTunes. Like before, just right-click (or control-click for mac users) and select "Download Document" and press OK to download it. Thank me later...

Without further ado:

Can't Stop (Love & Light Remix) - Red Hot Chili Peppers

All About You (Urban Noize Remix) - Chris Brown

All We Do Is - Paper Diamond

Where Dem Girls At - David Guetta feat. Flo Rida & Nicki Minaj

My 21st bday is in 6 days. Here are some jamzz so everyone can get excited for me!!!

"Young Wild And Free" - Wiz Khalifa feat. Snoop Dogg
"No Sleep" - Wiz Khalifa
Two FIRE ass toonzz from an LT regular, Wiz Khalifa. Man is KILLIN IT!! These two are gonna be HUGE for 2011. Both really feel good rap, Wiz has great flow so does Snoop. I can't really decide which one I like better, you would be a fool not to download them both. MUST DL

"One More Yeah" - Yoni feat. Akon, Avicii, & Daft Punk
EPIC mashup here. I only had to read the description to figure out that this was going to be outrageous. Akon's BANGER "Yeah Yeah Yeah" was a hit when it came out a couple months ago, and Avicii's "ID" which I posted in full version last week. Throw in a little Daft Punk and you've got yourself a full blown HEATER

"Still Alive (Que Remix)" - Lisa Mikovsky
Smoooooth dubstep remix here

"Everyday" - Rusko
"Everday (Netsky Remix)" - Rusko
I posted a rip of Rusko's latest single "Everyday" here. Here is the official version, along with an absurd dubstep remix of it done by Netsky. One of the most unique dubstep beats I've ever heard

"If I Die Today feat. Rick Ross" - Lil Wayne
Here's a track that's supposedly from Weezy's upcoming album The Carter IV, which is due to drop in May. This one is reminiscent of his older stuff from The Carter II. Sick beat, and Rick Ross's vocals blend in real nice. Weezy fans pick this one up

The next part of this post is devoted to a few of my favorite tracks from Daft Punk's Tron: Legacy R3CONF1GUR3D album, which is scheduled to drop April 5 but leaked recently. Basically, Disney had a competition among some of the top EDM artists in the world today, having them submit remixes of tracks from the Tron: Legacy album that came out with the movie. I didn't think much of the original album, because they were written as a score and not really meant for the d flo. However, some of the hottest artists in the game did work on them, and they are FIRE. Check em out

"Fall (M83 vs. Big Black Delta Remix)" - Daft Punk
Epic beat

"Solar Sailer (Pretty Lights Remix)" - Daft Punk
Signature PL style, good energy

"Son Of Flynn (KiTheory Remix)" - Daft Punk
I listened to this one yesterday to get jacked up for the Hopkins game. Unfortunately, the game didn't go so well...but this song is epic nonetheless. The drop at 2:00 will blow your mindddd

"Derezzed (Glitch Mob Remix)" - Daft Punk
"Derezzed (Avicii Remix)" - Daft Punk
Same song remixed here, except they sound COMPLETELY different. Yet they are both incredible, my two favorites from the album. The Glitch Mob turns it into an epic glitchy bass-infused HEATER, while Avicii takes it and turns it into an epic uplifting anthem. Pretty reminiscent of both of these artists style, they never disappoint

"Use Somebody (Armin Van Buuren Rework)" - Lauren Jansen
When my roomate heard this song he was literally on the verge of tears (not really, but you get the point). Lauren Jansen's voice is so emotional, it really is a moving piece of work. Kings Of Leon are one of my all time favorite bands, and I am happy to see such a masterful take on one of their epic songs. Armin's work on it helps enhance its epicness. Takes a little bit to build up, but is well worth it

Check out the video of Armin playing it live...he literally starts breaking down and crying at 1:56...pretty serious stuff

"Paris" - Geographer
I found this song while my iTunes library was on shuffle...Pretty cool beat

"Piano Machine" - Avicii
Ahhh, Avicii. So young, so good. This is a pretty standard song by him: buildup to an epic uplifting beat

"Baby Give It Up Techno Remix" - DJ Celso
Sickkkk remix of the KC & The Sunshine Band classick, "Give It Up." Great energy
"Give It Up" - KC & The Sunshine Band
Here's the original in case you don't know what song I'm talking about.

UPDATE

"Maybe It's Just Me (feat. Brother Ali)" - Classified
This song is FIRE. Download it.

Also, check out this absolute BOMB dropped by Swedish House Mafia this weekend. This toon is gonna be absolutely HUGE in 2011

Remix to a Tupac classic, MiMOSa kills it

Everyone loved Kanye's "All Of The Lights." This remix has the same epic beat but has new flow from Weezy, Drake, and Big Sean, all three of which kill it

"ID (Original Vocal Mix)" - Avicii
Already posted a rip preview of ID...This is the full version and it is EPIC. Seriously though Avicii is the best DJ out there today, hands down

"Blessed (Avicii Edit)" - Tom Hangs
Not the official release, but still UNREAL. More complete and better version than I posted earlier

"Another Day" - Axel Bauer and Lanford
Epic Trance

Tuesday, February 15, 2011

Sports Illustrated is not the only media outlet bringing the heat these days...

...Although Irina Shayk is pretty DAMN hott.

Seriously though, we've got some serious heat coming atcha, with many different kinds of genres and moods. Without further ado...

"Under Cover Of Darkness" - The Strokes
The Strokes are at it again with the release of there album "Under Cover Of Darkness." Here is the album title track. It's got a cool alternative feel, a lot like Kings of Leon

"Accidents Happen (Radio Edit)" - Zoe Badwi
I already said how I am in love with this woman a few weeks ago, here is further proof. This jam is about as hot as she is

"Open Your Eyes" - Alex Metric & Steve Angello
This one is a real eye-opener =)). Seriously though this is an epic jam, two of the best House producers in the game right now straight killin' it. Can you say HEATERR???!!!!????

"Beautiful People" - Chris Brown feat. Benny Benassi
More Electronic Dance/Hip Hop blend that has been killing it lately. Two of the best artists in the business collaborating for an EPIC jam

"Autosave (Original Mix)" - Fedde Le Grand feat. Patric La Funk
I posted this one a few days ago already, here is a cleaner, better quality version. Epic.

"The Kids Don't Stand A Chance" - B.o.B. feat. Janelle Monae
This song is kind of old but it has been stuck in my head for the past day or so, so I decided to post. Great energy, super catchy

"Love Is Darkness (Original Mix)" - Sander Van Doorn Feat. Carol Lee
Sickkkk Trance track. Got vocals too for the haters who need words in their music

"This Is The Night (Twice Nice Version)" - Guru Josh Project
For those that don't know, Guru Josh Project is the group that brought the epic late night House track "Infinity 2008," which probably along with Darude's "Sandstorm" is the most recognizable Techno track of all time. This song has the signature synth sounds and vocals that make it clear that it is GJP...It also has a Deadmau5-esque feel which is pretty dope. Check this one out fo sho

Here are those other two songs for those of you who don't know

"Walk Like An Egyptian (BassNectar 2003 Remix)" - The Bangles
What a genuine dood Lorin from Bassnectar is. Out of recognition for the recent freedom of the people in Egypt of corrupt President Hosni Mubarak, he released his previously unreleased track which he made in 2003, a remix of The Bangles' "Walk Like An Egyptian." It's got a really unique beat and is more reminiscent of Bassnectar's older stuff, doesn't have the epic drop like his tracks incorporate now. But it's still fire. I especially like the whistling part at the 2:15 part

"Baby (Breakbot Remix)" - Pnau
Uberfunky chill remix here

"No One Is Gonna Love You" - The Band Of Horses
The Band of Horses brought you the oft-heard song "The Funeral" which has a very mellow, slow, but still epic beat to it. Everyone will recognize what I'm talking about when they watch this incredible video

(Thanks to Malph for sending this one)

Anyway, "No One Is Gonna Love You" has got a similar feel, and is a pretty sweet jam

"Blow The Skrilla (Too $hort)" - Brenton Duvall
Brenton Duvall is at it again. this time he remixed Skrillex's "With You Friends" and Too $hort's "Blow The Whistle" to make an absolutely bangin' track

"Crazy (Seal Cover Triple J Like A Version)" - Yeasayer
Seal doing an awesome chill cover here, kind of got a Bon Iver-esque feel. Anyway, this track is sweet, and Seal is really talented, but seriously...How in the world did the ugliest man in the world end up marrying literally the hottest woman in the world? For those that don't know, Seal looks like this...

And his wife, Heidi Klum, former SI Swimsuit and Victoria Secret Cover Girl looks like this

Seriously WTF????

"Freaks And Geeks" - Childish Gambino
This song was the #1 on the Hype Machine today, and I neglected downloading it for a while. What a mistake that was. This man's got some serious flow in this, drops some ridiculous one-liners and includes a bunch of current pop-culture references

"The Rabbit, The Bat, And The Reindeer" - Dr. Dog
"Stranger" - Dr. Dog
"Mirror, Mirror" - Dr. Dog
"Shadow People" - Dr. Dog
I went with my boy Matty O last week to check out Dr. Dog live in downtown Charlottesville. I can honestly say that this band is one of the best live bands I have ever heard. They have a rootsy-Americana-esque style but bring the energy hard during their shows. They pick you up and bring you back down...a true roller coaster ride. Throw in some boogie-woogie piano licks and solid guitar playing with some groovy bass playing and you got yourself one helluva band. Seriously download all four of these songs, they don't disappoint. Real good chill music...my favorite is probably "Shadow People" although I like them all

On another note, if you ever find yourself in the vicinity of a band called The Head and the Heart, I HIGHLY recommend you turn and run. These clowns opened for Dr. Dog the other night and nearly caused me and my boy to leave before DD even came on. They were seriously awful. I won't bother posting any music by them because I would not want to waste mine or anyone's time.

This was the supposed to be the end of this post, but some last minute submissions by friends left me with no choice but to keep on truckin'

"Get U Home (Party Rock Remix)" - Shwayze feat. LMFAO & Cisco Adler
"Illmerica (Party Rock Remix)" - Split Second
"Party Rock Anthem" - LMFAO Feat. Lauren Bennett & Goon Rock
This whole Party Rock LMFAO thing is kinda lame, but these three tracks provide some epic beats and in general are great partying music. Probably more geared for the female audience, thanks to Kambi for these gems

"Hide Ya Kids Hide Ya Dubstep" - 5 & A Dime
"Hope (feat. Demarco)" - Collie Buddz
"Bohemian Dubsody" - The Weatherman Shout out to my sister Morgan, who digs dubstep, on this one. Happy Birthday Morgan!
"Animal (Drake vs. Neon Trees vs. T.I.)" - Big-Z Remixes
My friend Kambi sent me these as well. First one is standard 5 & A Dime, just killing the mashup/dubstep tracks. Second is a real catchy reggae jam provided by Collie Buddz, it has a real funky synthy bass in the middle of it that gives it a dope sound. The third is a remix of the Queen Classick "Bohemian Rhapsody." It's a dubstep remix and I came close to not including but honestly after listening for a second and third time I could not resist. The fourth is an absolutely SICK mashup done by Big-Z remixes, seriously probably one of the few MUST DOWNLOADS on this post. Although I think every song I post is a must download...but that's just me.

"Black and Yellow (Cris Cab Cover)" - Wiz Khalifa
My buddy Ghit sent me this earlier tonight, it's pretty legittt. Here's the video it basically shows this guy Cris Cab who hails from Florida and he works out a reggae esque take on the Wiz Khalifa Heater "Black and Yellow." Pretty cool check out the vid

"Sky High" - Milkman
"Let's Go" - Milkman
And two ridiculously sweet mashups to end tonight. Milkman brought you guys the Heater "Breaking Free" which was an epic House jam. However, Milkman is better known for his mashup skills. He is a lot like Girl Talk, except he's actually good. Check these two out they won't disappoint

Whew....another epic dosage of HEATERZZ in the books

UPDATE

Every time I think I'm done with this post, more heaterzz get thrown at me and I'm can't help but post them. This is the Looney Toonzz post that keeps on giving...kinda like herpes...but in a good way of course.

"Blessed (Unreleased Preview)" - Avicii feat. Shermanology
First off we have a rip of Avicii's upcoming single "Blessed" featuring Shermanology. I already mentioned how this song is gonna be HUGE in 2011, and posted a live version of it when the 21 year old Swedish prodigy dropped it on New Years here. This version starts slow and builds up, then at around the 3:00 mark it starts to really pick up until its INCREDIBLE drop at 3:18. Seriously this beat is incredible, I don't know how he does it. This could be bigger than "Bromance." Alas, it's just a rip because the track has not officially dropped yet, so at around 4:12 it's gone, just as quickly as it came. What a dick teaser. Anyway, HIGHLY recommend downloading this and just skipping ahead to 3:00 if you're impatient for about a minute and a half of pure enjoyment. Or you can just wait until the full version drops. Your choice

"Blow (Dr. Luke & Cirkut Remix)" - Ke$ha
Another bonerfide HEATER coming atcha. Thanks to my buddy J-Money for posting this on his facebook. Just a techno/dubstep/house BANGER remix of our favorite trashy tramp, Ke$ha. Great party jam

"Don't Hold Your Breath (Kaskade Remix)" - Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger killin it some more. This is a bit girly but is a really fun remix, Kaskade kills it

Friday, February 11, 2011

February may be a shitty month for movies (notice all the Nicolas Cage movies coming out...) but there are still plenty of HEATERZZ being released

"Coconut Tree" - Mohombi feat. Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger is hottt. So is this song

"Seven Nation Army (The Glitch Mob Remix)" - The White Stripes
The original of this song is a classick. This is a glitchy dubstep remix that is fire.

"One Nation Army (Jerry Rekonius Mix)" - Swedish House Mafia vs. White Stripes
Another Sickkkkk remix/mashup of "Seven Nation Army"

"E.T. (Benny Benassi Remix)" - Katy Perry
I posted the Tiesto remix to this song last week...This one may be better. I fucking love Katy Perry

"Niton (Radio Edit)" - The Reason
"Niton (Club Mix)" - The Reason
Two slightly different versions of the same House BANGER, pretty epic beat

"Change Is Gonna Come" - DMX
"Bring Your Whole Crew" - DMX
"The XX Gon' Give It To Ya (The Hood Internet)" - DMX vs. The Xx
"X Gon' Give It To Ya (Grizzly Dubstep Remix)" - DMX
DMX recently came out with a remix of the Sam Cooke classick "Change Is Gonna Come." It's kinda strange hearing DMX rapping and the song has a happy tone to it, but regardless it's pretty good. Inspired by this recent release, I decided to throw in some other DMX that I've been holding onto on my library. The first one is an alright song but opens with the most epic/fucked up line I think I've ever heard

I got blood on my hands and there's no remorse

I got blood on my dick cuz I fucked your corpse

Whaaaaattttt???

The other two are each a mashup and remix of the DMX classick, "X Gon Give It To Ya."

"Don't Stop This Plane" - The Friendly Giant
Epiccc mashup here. Anything that involves "Don't Stop Believing" usually is...This mashup takes the Journey classick and the recent Wiz Khalifa hit, and flows real nice

"Up All Night" - French Horn Rebellion
This song has a sick beat and in general just makes me happy

"Wonderman (Jacob Plant Remix)" - Tinie Tempah feat. Ellie Goulding
Ellie + Dubstep consistently killzzz it. This is no different

"The Glow (Flosstradamus Remix)" - RJD2
Uber funky chill remix. RJD2 has been killin for a long time and still comes through in a huge way

"Bass Cannon" - Flux Pavillion
I already posted a live version of this song here saying it has caused a lot of hype among the dubstep community. It has not officially dropped yet, but here is a bootleg version of it. It loops after 1:50 but whatever is still epic

"Cobrastyle" - Robyn feat. Ish
Sick beat/flow

"We Once Had An Empire (Jungle Fiction Remix)" - Cassette Culture
Not really sure how to describe this song...its pretty dope techno/electro? Has a pretty sick beat, don't pass this one up

"Starworshipper" - Futurecop!
This sounds so 80s its scary...I assure you it's not. Still so sick though

"White Noise Red Meat (Original Mix)" - Dada Life
Everyone is obsessing over this song...I think it's iiiight, nothing too special. You all can judge for yourselves

"Pink Floyd Time Remix" - Pretty Lights
Neglected to post this along with the other PL remixes from last week...I'm not a huge Pink Floyd fan which surprised a lot of people but this song is dope

"Falling In Love With Brazil (Kaskade Mashup)" - Haley vs. Deadmau5
Sickkkk House mashup. Basically just gives an epic song vocals for the masses to enjoy

"Autosave (FunKaViD Audio Clip Edited)" - Fedde Le Grand & Patric La Funk
This song is supposed to drop on Valentines Day. This version is ripped and edited from the video, which has a bunch of interruptions and is therefore not as sweet

"Live Your Life" - Erick Morillo & Eddie Thoneick feat. Shawnee Taylor
My boi Matty O recommended me this song, mainly because of the video but the song is pretty dope too. Erick Morillo is a Brazillian-American DJ who has been killin for a long time...His hit "I Like to Move It" from 1994 is a classick fo sho. This song is dope though

This song should leave you with nice dreams for the night...The chicks in it are UNREAL

UPDATE

HOLY SHIT!!! This music video easily rivals the one for "Call On Me." This is an edited version with just the chicks from it...it pretty much speaks for itself. Your Welcome.

"Chica Boom" - Dan Balan
Here's the song if you're interested

This Just In: Pretty Lights and Tiesto absolutely KILL IT. And in other news...

"Empire State Of Mind Remix" - Pretty Lights
"Fly Like An Eagle Remix" - Pretty Lights
"All Of The Lights Remix" - Pretty Lights
"Rustified" - Pretty Lights
"Chicago Bulls Intro Remix" - Pretty Lights
I'm JACKED UP that "Empire State Of Mind Remix" finally got released. I heard PL drop this remix last June when I saw them perform at Terminal 5 in NY...needless to say it was the PERFECT call for a genuine New York party. Who knew these two anthems from Brooklyn's finest, Jay Z and Biggie, would blend so well? Derek from Pretty Lights did apparently. The rest are some other fresshhhhh Pretty Lights Remixes that were previously unreleased

"Words I Never Said" - Lupe Fiasco
Lupe hit it big with his single "The Show Goes On". This one is not as epic but is close

"Your Love 2010 (Virtual Groove Mix)" - The Outfield
The Outfield used to keep it real. Check out these mullets

Yeah they were badass as shit. They're song "Your Love" is an 80s anthem CLASSICK. This is a pretty dope house remix of that hot jam

"Go Do Jay-Z & Jonsi" - Brenton Duvall
Brenton Duvall killin' it once again. Is this guy mortal?

"Zero 76 (Original Mix)" - Tiesto & Hardwell
"E.T. (Futuristic Lover Tiesto Remix)" - Katy Perry
"I Will Be Here (Wolfgang Gartner Remix)" - Tiesto & Sneaky Sound System
"Phazing (Tiesto Remix)" - Dirty South feat. Rudy
Tiesto made contributions to all four of these and they are all FIRE. "Zero 76" is his latest and is an epic trance track. The "E.T." remix is a house remix of Katy Perry's single, and like the other remixes of her we've seen, it adds to the amazingness that is Katy Perry. "I Will Be Here" is older and kinda slow, but is absolutely sickk. the "Phazing" remix is one of my favorite songs right now...Tiesto is straight KILLIN' life

"I'm Not Alone (Deadmau5 Remix)" - Calvin Harris
This reminds me a lot of "I Will Be Here." Kinda old from 2010 but still soooo goooood

"Imagine The Possibilities" - Paper Diamond
Brought you the incredible Paper Diamond remix of Kanye West's "Power" last week. Here is another off his latest EP "Levitate" released by the Pretty Lights Music label

"Mexico" - moe.
"Freeker By The Speaker" - Keller Williams
Two album versions of jam band HEATERZZ here. Seriously though I saw moe. last May in Charlottesville and was severely dissapointed...if they played "Mexico" it may have actually been worth going to. I saw Keller Williams at All Good last summer and was blown away. Great blend of bluegrass/rock with funk.

"Electroman" - Benny Benassi Ft. T-Pain
Couldn't resist posting this. Benny and T-Pain are two of the hottest acts in the game today

"Punching In A Dream" - The Naked & Famous
The Naked & Famous are a New Zealand rock band with a cool sound. This particular one is uplifting as hell

"Roll Up" - Wiz Khalifa
More Wiz. "Roll Up" actually does not refer to weed suprisingly..

"Alright 2010 (Radio Edit)" - Red Carpet feat. Hardwell
Short but EPIC house track here. Seriously though this packs a lot of punch in less than 3 minutes...perfect for those who get tired of house tracks after too long

"Young Folks (Kanye West Remix)" - Peter, Bjorn, & John
I freaking LOVE the original "Young Folks" by PB&J. This remix done by Kanye is pretty cool, he raps to the beat of the song and it flows real nice

"Lights (BassNectar Remix)" - Ellie Goulding
BassNectar...Ellie Goulding...Match made in heaven? Perhaps. My roomate BK was talking about this song today saying he heard some BassNectar song that was one of the best he's ever heard. That pretty much sums it up

"Green & Yellow" - Lil Wayne
There have been a ton of remixes of Wiz Khalifa's "Black & Yellow." Some are absolute trash. This one is not. Weezy drops some ridiculous one liners

We gonna toast these niggas...pop tarts

Apparently this is a freestyle too? Epic.

"Minnesota Nice" - Atmosphere
Atmosphere happens to be one of my favorite underground rappers. The beat on this is ridiculously sweet and Atmosphere has some legit flow

"Closing Time Remix" - The Five One
Awesome reggae-esque cover of the Goo Goo Dolls classick

"Sweet Dreams (Avicii Swede Dub Mix)" - Avicii
Posted Avicii's remake of "Sweet Dreams" here. This is a dub remix so there is a lot more bass/lot less vocals. Sounds a lot more trance-esque

"Shot Yourself In The Foot Again" - Skream & Example
This song is HUGE out in the UK. I thought it was iiiightttt when I first heard it, the more I listen to it though the more it grows on me

"Gold Guns Girls (Soundkeepers Dubstep Edit)" - Metric
"On My Own (Stench Man Remix)" - Metric
Two chill dubstep remixes here

"Oxygen (Gemini Remix)" - Hadouken!
"Blue" - Gemini
...And some more dubstep, Gemini killzz it

UPDATE

"Desert Rain (AG Remix)" - Edward Maya feat. Vika Jigulina

ALMOST forgot to post this song...The original version was already posted here and I said it was "Not 'Stereo Love,' but close." Well, this remix is about as close as it gets

Monday, January 24, 2011

Today was a scorching 13 degrees out...Tomorrow's forecast is predicting a heavy influx of HEEEAATTTEERRZZZZ

"Speed Of Sound (Xaphoon Jones Remix)" - Mike Posner & Big Sean
Xaphoon Jones of course makes up the up and coming duo known to many as Chiddy Bang. he kills the remix here, got a nice dubby whompy sound

"All Things Go" - Chiddy Bang
And here's a hot new jam from Chiddy Bang as well

"Dreams Up" - Hoodie Allen
Hoodie Allen just seems like an all around Genuine dood. He's got a nice feel good sound to his music, this one is no different

"The Best Thing About Me Is You (Jump Smokers Remix)" - Ricky Martin feat. Joss Stone
Don't be fooled by the artist. Ricky Martin may be gay but this remix is most definitely a HEATER

"Give Me The Beat" - Ghostland Observatory
I've been listening to this jam a lot lately, then I realized I haven't posted any Ghostland Observatory. For those of you that don't know, Ghostland Observatory is a duo from Austin, Texas made up of guitarist/vocalist Aaron Behrens and Thomas Ross on the synth/drums. They have a real unique sound by incorporating 70s-style funk with cutting edge electronic beats. Here are some other hot jams they've produced
"Silver City" - Ghostland Observatory
"Sad Sad City" - Ghostland Observatory
"Midnight Voyage" - Ghostland Observatory

"Big Booty Hoes" - Notorious B.I.G.
Classick throwback Biggie track here, the beat's incredible. I've been listening to it a lot lately. Pretty raunchy lyrics too, gotta love the man's flow

"Compton" - Guerilla Black feat. Beenie Man
Guerilla Black has been called a "West Coast Biggie" because he looks and sounds just like him. Literally. And he hails from Compton

"Let Me Holla At Cha" - Blac Haze
On the topic of classic hip hop artist impersonators, this here is Blac Haze who sounds just like Tupac

"Abow vs. Sex On Fire (Avicii Bootleg)" - Avicii vs. Kings Of Leon
"Penguin" - Avicii
Two more rips off Avicii's Essential Mix...First one is an EPIC mashup with Kings Of Leon, who are easily one of my favorite bands, and the second one is just an incredible beat thrown down by Avicii

"Exit Row" - Wiz Khalifa
This is actually my favorite Wiz song I've heard to date

"Black And Yellow (Big Gigantic & Samples Remix)" - Wiz Khalifa
This is a BANGIN remix of WK's hit "Black & Yellow." Seriously though Big Gigantic kills it, throwing down some solid dubstep without making it too crazy.

"Cinema" - Benny Benassi
"Cinema (Skrillex Remix)" - Benny Benassi
Benny Benassi recently released this track and it's fire. Skrillex naturally came out with an INSANE dubstep remix of it. Check em both out

Gotta love Passion Pit. Really feel good remix here

"Cooler Rock 'n' Roll" - DJ Schmolli
Sickkk mashup

"Flux Monsters" - Kap Slap
"Touch Your Arms Against Me" - Kap Slap
Introducing Kap Slap, a mashup artist from Lehigh University. Kid has a real knack for mashups

"Hit The Lights" - Jay Sean & Lil Wayne
I have a good feeling this is going to be the next big song on the radio. It's got that poppy electro feel that is getting so popular these days

"I'm In Love Bromance (Alex Gaudino vs. Avicii)" - Alexandra Damiani
When I found this on Youtube the description was "BEST MASHUP OF THE MILLENIUM." I'm not gonna lie, that may not be a far-fetched statement, both of these songs were HUGE in 2010, who knew they would blend together so well?

"Infinite Dream" - The White Panda
EPIC mashup here

"I'm Coming Home" - J. Cole
Love this song, especially the intro. I haven't posted enough J. Cole, this should change that.

In case you haven't seen, this dance is all the rave. Pretty hilarious...

"Movin' Like Bernie" - Unknown Artist
Here's the song

"Power (Paper Diamond Remix)" - Kanye West
SICKKKK dubstep remix of Kanye here

Brenton Duvall has been KILLIN IT lately. This song is no different. This man is gonna blow up big time soon

"The Dream" - LOGGY
Really catchy poppy song here from LOGGY

And to send you off for today, check out this song that Avicii has yet to release but is scheduled to at some point in 2011. It's called "Blessed" and it features Shermanator as the vocalist. It sounds pretty absurd, can't wait for it to drop...

Here are some jamzz to hold you over, more to come very soon

"It's Going Down" - Pretty Lights

"Kickstarts (Bar 9 Remix)" - Example
Dubstep BANGER here, really like the music video that goes along with it, Genuine..

Zoe Badwi is a HOT Australian who is an incredible artist as well. This song has great energy. I can smell something in the air...I think it might be love..

Really cool sounding electronic jam. Starts kinda soft but kicks in with some bass...definitely a BANGER

"I Just Came To Say Hello" - Mashup Germany
Not much to say, other than this is another EPIC mashup done by Mashup Germany. Too many artists to list them all out but trust me...it's good

"I Choose Me" - Kai
This is probably the strangest/most unique song posted on LT. To label it as "Alternative" would be an understatement, I mean, she plays a kazoo for God's sake!! It's really catchy though

"ID" - Avicii
A rip off his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, which is where "Drowning" came from as well. I need to see this 21-year old prodigy live..

"Won't Let You Down" - Hagenaar & Albrecht
EPIC Trance track. Because I love Trance.

"Hold It Against Me" - Britney Spears
Britney is a bonafide genuis. She has literally jumped to the number one spot in 16 different countries because of this EPIC HEATERRRR. Ladies and gentlemen, dubstep has finally made it maintstream....let's just pray it doesn't lead to its downfall. Wait for the drop at 2:17....Dirrrtttyyyyy
