Sports Illustrated is not the only media outlet bringing the heat these days...

...Although Irina Shayk is pretty DAMN hott.

Seriously though, we've got some serious heat coming atcha, with many different kinds of genres and moods. Without further ado...

"Under Cover Of Darkness" - The Strokes
The Strokes are at it again with the release of there album "Under Cover Of Darkness." Here is the album title track. It's got a cool alternative feel, a lot like Kings of Leon

"Accidents Happen (Radio Edit)" - Zoe Badwi
I already said how I am in love with this woman a few weeks ago, here is further proof. This jam is about as hot as she is

"Open Your Eyes" - Alex Metric & Steve Angello
This one is a real eye-opener =)). Seriously though this is an epic jam, two of the best House producers in the game right now straight killin' it. Can you say HEATERR???!!!!????

"Beautiful People" - Chris Brown feat. Benny Benassi
More Electronic Dance/Hip Hop blend that has been killing it lately. Two of the best artists in the business collaborating for an EPIC jam

"Autosave (Original Mix)" - Fedde Le Grand feat. Patric La Funk
I posted this one a few days ago already, here is a cleaner, better quality version. Epic.

"The Kids Don't Stand A Chance" - B.o.B. feat. Janelle Monae
This song is kind of old but it has been stuck in my head for the past day or so, so I decided to post. Great energy, super catchy

"Love Is Darkness (Original Mix)" - Sander Van Doorn Feat. Carol Lee
Sickkkk Trance track. Got vocals too for the haters who need words in their music

"This Is The Night (Twice Nice Version)" - Guru Josh Project
For those that don't know, Guru Josh Project is the group that brought the epic late night House track "Infinity 2008," which probably along with Darude's "Sandstorm" is the most recognizable Techno track of all time. This song has the signature synth sounds and vocals that make it clear that it is GJP...It also has a Deadmau5-esque feel which is pretty dope. Check this one out fo sho

Here are those other two songs for those of you who don't know

"Walk Like An Egyptian (BassNectar 2003 Remix)" - The Bangles
What a genuine dood Lorin from Bassnectar is. Out of recognition for the recent freedom of the people in Egypt of corrupt President Hosni Mubarak, he released his previously unreleased track which he made in 2003, a remix of The Bangles' "Walk Like An Egyptian." It's got a really unique beat and is more reminiscent of Bassnectar's older stuff, doesn't have the epic drop like his tracks incorporate now. But it's still fire. I especially like the whistling part at the 2:15 part

"Baby (Breakbot Remix)" - Pnau
Uberfunky chill remix here

"No One Is Gonna Love You" - The Band Of Horses
The Band of Horses brought you the oft-heard song "The Funeral" which has a very mellow, slow, but still epic beat to it. Everyone will recognize what I'm talking about when they watch this incredible video

(Thanks to Malph for sending this one)

Anyway, "No One Is Gonna Love You" has got a similar feel, and is a pretty sweet jam

"Blow The Skrilla (Too $hort)" - Brenton Duvall
Brenton Duvall is at it again. this time he remixed Skrillex's "With You Friends" and Too $hort's "Blow The Whistle" to make an absolutely bangin' track

"Crazy (Seal Cover Triple J Like A Version)" - Yeasayer
Seal doing an awesome chill cover here, kind of got a Bon Iver-esque feel. Anyway, this track is sweet, and Seal is really talented, but seriously...How in the world did the ugliest man in the world end up marrying literally the hottest woman in the world? For those that don't know, Seal looks like this...

And his wife, Heidi Klum, former SI Swimsuit and Victoria Secret Cover Girl looks like this

Seriously WTF????

"Freaks And Geeks" - Childish Gambino
This song was the #1 on the Hype Machine today, and I neglected downloading it for a while. What a mistake that was. This man's got some serious flow in this, drops some ridiculous one-liners and includes a bunch of current pop-culture references

"The Rabbit, The Bat, And The Reindeer" - Dr. Dog
"Stranger" - Dr. Dog
"Mirror, Mirror" - Dr. Dog
"Shadow People" - Dr. Dog
I went with my boy Matty O last week to check out Dr. Dog live in downtown Charlottesville. I can honestly say that this band is one of the best live bands I have ever heard. They have a rootsy-Americana-esque style but bring the energy hard during their shows. They pick you up and bring you back down...a true roller coaster ride. Throw in some boogie-woogie piano licks and solid guitar playing with some groovy bass playing and you got yourself one helluva band. Seriously download all four of these songs, they don't disappoint. Real good chill music...my favorite is probably "Shadow People" although I like them all

On another note, if you ever find yourself in the vicinity of a band called The Head and the Heart, I HIGHLY recommend you turn and run. These clowns opened for Dr. Dog the other night and nearly caused me and my boy to leave before DD even came on. They were seriously awful. I won't bother posting any music by them because I would not want to waste mine or anyone's time.

This was the supposed to be the end of this post, but some last minute submissions by friends left me with no choice but to keep on truckin'

"Get U Home (Party Rock Remix)" - Shwayze feat. LMFAO & Cisco Adler
"Illmerica (Party Rock Remix)" - Split Second
"Party Rock Anthem" - LMFAO Feat. Lauren Bennett & Goon Rock
This whole Party Rock LMFAO thing is kinda lame, but these three tracks provide some epic beats and in general are great partying music. Probably more geared for the female audience, thanks to Kambi for these gems

"Hide Ya Kids Hide Ya Dubstep" - 5 & A Dime
"Hope (feat. Demarco)" - Collie Buddz
"Bohemian Dubsody" - The Weatherman Shout out to my sister Morgan, who digs dubstep, on this one. Happy Birthday Morgan!
"Animal (Drake vs. Neon Trees vs. T.I.)" - Big-Z Remixes
My friend Kambi sent me these as well. First one is standard 5 & A Dime, just killing the mashup/dubstep tracks. Second is a real catchy reggae jam provided by Collie Buddz, it has a real funky synthy bass in the middle of it that gives it a dope sound. The third is a remix of the Queen Classick "Bohemian Rhapsody." It's a dubstep remix and I came close to not including but honestly after listening for a second and third time I could not resist. The fourth is an absolutely SICK mashup done by Big-Z remixes, seriously probably one of the few MUST DOWNLOADS on this post. Although I think every song I post is a must download...but that's just me.

"Black and Yellow (Cris Cab Cover)" - Wiz Khalifa
My buddy Ghit sent me this earlier tonight, it's pretty legittt. Here's the video it basically shows this guy Cris Cab who hails from Florida and he works out a reggae esque take on the Wiz Khalifa Heater "Black and Yellow." Pretty cool check out the vid

"Sky High" - Milkman
"Let's Go" - Milkman
And two ridiculously sweet mashups to end tonight. Milkman brought you guys the Heater "Breaking Free" which was an epic House jam. However, Milkman is better known for his mashup skills. He is a lot like Girl Talk, except he's actually good. Check these two out they won't disappoint

Whew....another epic dosage of HEATERZZ in the books

UPDATE

Every time I think I'm done with this post, more heaterzz get thrown at me and I'm can't help but post them. This is the Looney Toonzz post that keeps on giving...kinda like herpes...but in a good way of course.

"Blessed (Unreleased Preview)" - Avicii feat. Shermanology
First off we have a rip of Avicii's upcoming single "Blessed" featuring Shermanology. I already mentioned how this song is gonna be HUGE in 2011, and posted a live version of it when the 21 year old Swedish prodigy dropped it on New Years here. This version starts slow and builds up, then at around the 3:00 mark it starts to really pick up until its INCREDIBLE drop at 3:18. Seriously this beat is incredible, I don't know how he does it. This could be bigger than "Bromance." Alas, it's just a rip because the track has not officially dropped yet, so at around 4:12 it's gone, just as quickly as it came. What a dick teaser. Anyway, HIGHLY recommend downloading this and just skipping ahead to 3:00 if you're impatient for about a minute and a half of pure enjoyment. Or you can just wait until the full version drops. Your choice

"Blow (Dr. Luke & Cirkut Remix)" - Ke$ha
Another bonerfide HEATER coming atcha. Thanks to my buddy J-Money for posting this on his facebook. Just a techno/dubstep/house BANGER remix of our favorite trashy tramp, Ke$ha. Great party jam

"Don't Hold Your Breath (Kaskade Remix)" - Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger killin it some more. This is a bit girly but is a really fun remix, Kaskade kills it

Friday, February 11, 2011

February may be a shitty month for movies (notice all the Nicolas Cage movies coming out...) but there are still plenty of HEATERZZ being released

"Coconut Tree" - Mohombi feat. Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger is hottt. So is this song

"Seven Nation Army (The Glitch Mob Remix)" - The White Stripes
The original of this song is a classick. This is a glitchy dubstep remix that is fire.

"One Nation Army (Jerry Rekonius Mix)" - Swedish House Mafia vs. White Stripes
Another Sickkkkk remix/mashup of "Seven Nation Army"

"E.T. (Benny Benassi Remix)" - Katy Perry
I posted the Tiesto remix to this song last week...This one may be better. I fucking love Katy Perry

"Niton (Radio Edit)" - The Reason
"Niton (Club Mix)" - The Reason
Two slightly different versions of the same House BANGER, pretty epic beat

"Change Is Gonna Come" - DMX
"Bring Your Whole Crew" - DMX
"The XX Gon' Give It To Ya (The Hood Internet)" - DMX vs. The Xx
"X Gon' Give It To Ya (Grizzly Dubstep Remix)" - DMX
DMX recently came out with a remix of the Sam Cooke classick "Change Is Gonna Come." It's kinda strange hearing DMX rapping and the song has a happy tone to it, but regardless it's pretty good. Inspired by this recent release, I decided to throw in some other DMX that I've been holding onto on my library. The first one is an alright song but opens with the most epic/fucked up line I think I've ever heard

I got blood on my hands and there's no remorse

I got blood on my dick cuz I fucked your corpse

Whaaaaattttt???

The other two are each a mashup and remix of the DMX classick, "X Gon Give It To Ya."

"Don't Stop This Plane" - The Friendly Giant
Epiccc mashup here. Anything that involves "Don't Stop Believing" usually is...This mashup takes the Journey classick and the recent Wiz Khalifa hit, and flows real nice

"Up All Night" - French Horn Rebellion
This song has a sick beat and in general just makes me happy

"Wonderman (Jacob Plant Remix)" - Tinie Tempah feat. Ellie Goulding
Ellie + Dubstep consistently killzzz it. This is no different

"The Glow (Flosstradamus Remix)" - RJD2
Uber funky chill remix. RJD2 has been killin for a long time and still comes through in a huge way

"Bass Cannon" - Flux Pavillion
I already posted a live version of this song here saying it has caused a lot of hype among the dubstep community. It has not officially dropped yet, but here is a bootleg version of it. It loops after 1:50 but whatever is still epic

"Cobrastyle" - Robyn feat. Ish
Sick beat/flow

"We Once Had An Empire (Jungle Fiction Remix)" - Cassette Culture
Not really sure how to describe this song...its pretty dope techno/electro? Has a pretty sick beat, don't pass this one up

"Starworshipper" - Futurecop!
This sounds so 80s its scary...I assure you it's not. Still so sick though

"White Noise Red Meat (Original Mix)" - Dada Life
Everyone is obsessing over this song...I think it's iiiight, nothing too special. You all can judge for yourselves

"Pink Floyd Time Remix" - Pretty Lights
Neglected to post this along with the other PL remixes from last week...I'm not a huge Pink Floyd fan which surprised a lot of people but this song is dope

"Falling In Love With Brazil (Kaskade Mashup)" - Haley vs. Deadmau5
Sickkkk House mashup. Basically just gives an epic song vocals for the masses to enjoy

"Autosave (FunKaViD Audio Clip Edited)" - Fedde Le Grand & Patric La Funk
This song is supposed to drop on Valentines Day. This version is ripped and edited from the video, which has a bunch of interruptions and is therefore not as sweet

"Live Your Life" - Erick Morillo & Eddie Thoneick feat. Shawnee Taylor
My boi Matty O recommended me this song, mainly because of the video but the song is pretty dope too. Erick Morillo is a Brazillian-American DJ who has been killin for a long time...His hit "I Like to Move It" from 1994 is a classick fo sho. This song is dope though

This song should leave you with nice dreams for the night...The chicks in it are UNREAL

UPDATE

HOLY SHIT!!! This music video easily rivals the one for "Call On Me." This is an edited version with just the chicks from it...it pretty much speaks for itself. Your Welcome.

"Chica Boom" - Dan Balan
Here's the song if you're interested

This Just In: Pretty Lights and Tiesto absolutely KILL IT. And in other news...

"Empire State Of Mind Remix" - Pretty Lights
"Fly Like An Eagle Remix" - Pretty Lights
"All Of The Lights Remix" - Pretty Lights
"Rustified" - Pretty Lights
"Chicago Bulls Intro Remix" - Pretty Lights
I'm JACKED UP that "Empire State Of Mind Remix" finally got released. I heard PL drop this remix last June when I saw them perform at Terminal 5 in NY...needless to say it was the PERFECT call for a genuine New York party. Who knew these two anthems from Brooklyn's finest, Jay Z and Biggie, would blend so well? Derek from Pretty Lights did apparently. The rest are some other fresshhhhh Pretty Lights Remixes that were previously unreleased

"Words I Never Said" - Lupe Fiasco
Lupe hit it big with his single "The Show Goes On". This one is not as epic but is close

"Your Love 2010 (Virtual Groove Mix)" - The Outfield
The Outfield used to keep it real. Check out these mullets

Yeah they were badass as shit. They're song "Your Love" is an 80s anthem CLASSICK. This is a pretty dope house remix of that hot jam

"Go Do Jay-Z & Jonsi" - Brenton Duvall
Brenton Duvall killin' it once again. Is this guy mortal?

"Zero 76 (Original Mix)" - Tiesto & Hardwell
"E.T. (Futuristic Lover Tiesto Remix)" - Katy Perry
"I Will Be Here (Wolfgang Gartner Remix)" - Tiesto & Sneaky Sound System
"Phazing (Tiesto Remix)" - Dirty South feat. Rudy
Tiesto made contributions to all four of these and they are all FIRE. "Zero 76" is his latest and is an epic trance track. The "E.T." remix is a house remix of Katy Perry's single, and like the other remixes of her we've seen, it adds to the amazingness that is Katy Perry. "I Will Be Here" is older and kinda slow, but is absolutely sickk. the "Phazing" remix is one of my favorite songs right now...Tiesto is straight KILLIN' life

"I'm Not Alone (Deadmau5 Remix)" - Calvin Harris
This reminds me a lot of "I Will Be Here." Kinda old from 2010 but still soooo goooood

"Imagine The Possibilities" - Paper Diamond
Brought you the incredible Paper Diamond remix of Kanye West's "Power" last week. Here is another off his latest EP "Levitate" released by the Pretty Lights Music label

"Mexico" - moe.
"Freeker By The Speaker" - Keller Williams
Two album versions of jam band HEATERZZ here. Seriously though I saw moe. last May in Charlottesville and was severely dissapointed...if they played "Mexico" it may have actually been worth going to. I saw Keller Williams at All Good last summer and was blown away. Great blend of bluegrass/rock with funk.

"Electroman" - Benny Benassi Ft. T-Pain
Couldn't resist posting this. Benny and T-Pain are two of the hottest acts in the game today

"Punching In A Dream" - The Naked & Famous
The Naked & Famous are a New Zealand rock band with a cool sound. This particular one is uplifting as hell

"Roll Up" - Wiz Khalifa
More Wiz. "Roll Up" actually does not refer to weed suprisingly..

"Alright 2010 (Radio Edit)" - Red Carpet feat. Hardwell
Short but EPIC house track here. Seriously though this packs a lot of punch in less than 3 minutes...perfect for those who get tired of house tracks after too long

"Young Folks (Kanye West Remix)" - Peter, Bjorn, & John
I freaking LOVE the original "Young Folks" by PB&J. This remix done by Kanye is pretty cool, he raps to the beat of the song and it flows real nice

"Lights (BassNectar Remix)" - Ellie Goulding
BassNectar...Ellie Goulding...Match made in heaven? Perhaps. My roomate BK was talking about this song today saying he heard some BassNectar song that was one of the best he's ever heard. That pretty much sums it up

"Green & Yellow" - Lil Wayne
There have been a ton of remixes of Wiz Khalifa's "Black & Yellow." Some are absolute trash. This one is not. Weezy drops some ridiculous one liners

We gonna toast these niggas...pop tarts

Apparently this is a freestyle too? Epic.

"Minnesota Nice" - Atmosphere
Atmosphere happens to be one of my favorite underground rappers. The beat on this is ridiculously sweet and Atmosphere has some legit flow

"Closing Time Remix" - The Five One
Awesome reggae-esque cover of the Goo Goo Dolls classick

"Sweet Dreams (Avicii Swede Dub Mix)" - Avicii
Posted Avicii's remake of "Sweet Dreams" here. This is a dub remix so there is a lot more bass/lot less vocals. Sounds a lot more trance-esque

"Shot Yourself In The Foot Again" - Skream & Example
This song is HUGE out in the UK. I thought it was iiiightttt when I first heard it, the more I listen to it though the more it grows on me

"Gold Guns Girls (Soundkeepers Dubstep Edit)" - Metric
"On My Own (Stench Man Remix)" - Metric
Two chill dubstep remixes here

"Oxygen (Gemini Remix)" - Hadouken!
"Blue" - Gemini
...And some more dubstep, Gemini killzz it

UPDATE

"Desert Rain (AG Remix)" - Edward Maya feat. Vika Jigulina

ALMOST forgot to post this song...The original version was already posted here and I said it was "Not 'Stereo Love,' but close." Well, this remix is about as close as it gets
